Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter compares two theoretical perspectives on the technological dimension of media, social shaping of technology and diffusionism, comparing them from the point of view of epistemological premises and heuristic potential. The comparison makes use of the analysis of the issue of digital divide and media literacy.
