Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Temporality is one of the relevant themes on which the sociological reflection on modernity and contemporaneity has been concentrated, as a central dimension for understanding the changes that have occurred especially in relation to the change in the media landscape produced by the advent of the Internet and, in more recent times , social media. Among the most significant authors in this sense we can mention Anthony Giddens and Manuel Castells, who have given ample importance to this topic in the context of their thinking. Taking as its starting point the reflection of these authors, the present intervention aims to lower this reflection in the context of social media, in particular blogs and Facebook, with an attention to the microsocial dimension, ideal to see the practices in detail, according to the lesson of sociology of everyday life. After having outlined the theoretical reference scenario, we will therefore proceed to investigate the fabric of practices implemented in social media with the help of research results, obtained from the writer and taken from the literature, focusing on a triple articulation of temporality that it takes place in them and goes through the affordances of technology, user practices and published content.
