Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Current society is characterized by the logic of exaggerated consumption, requiring us to distance ourselves from things in order to attribute the right value to them, also with reference to our own needs. Consumer education has begun to present itself as promoting a more prudent way of consuming, beyond concepts relating to sobriety rather than linked to excessive consumerism. Businesses, also through social entrepreneurship, can represent an opportunity for change in the cultural approach, between innovation and sustainability, to combine economic value and social well-being.
