Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The goal of "I don't Waste" is to raise awareness and make people think about home food waste, which in Italy has reached 108 kg per capita per year. The object of the "I don't Waste" project is the development of a mobile app whose purpose is to combine the fight against food waste with the promotion of a smart lifestyle. In particular, the I don't waste project is part of a business idea that combines education and communication through technological devices and sensorial installations, in order to contribute to making Brescia a green smart city not only in technological terms but also in terms of responsibility and active involvement of citizens through informed choices and practices. I dont't waste proposes to combat food waste in the premises in order to have repercussions also on the global, with the motto "less waste more food for all".
