[Autom. eng. transl.] How can theater, as a yard of the ars a calling into question senses and intellect, help to represent and interpret the crisis we are experiencing? How can the great texts of dramaturgy and theatrical techniques intervene within an ever-changing economic-social horizon and contribute to transforming it? The volume moves from these questions to account for a cultural-educational project organized by the Mario Apollonio Theater Initiative and Culture Center of the Catholic University of Milan in collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano: a project that involved students and teachers of different universities and different disciplinary sectors (from arts to economics, from psychology to sociology) around the show "The company of men" by E. Bond, directed by L. Ronconi (2011). Specifically, the volume collects interviews, essays and other contributions that analyze from different points of view some of the hottest issues raised by the work; as the relationship between ethics and economy, humanism and business.
