Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] "Judging whether life is worth or not worth living", to use a famous sentence by Albert Camus (2000, not only calls into question the usual points of view on the phenomenon of suicide (psychiatric, sociological and psychological), but also a pedagogical reading that, inspired by Viktor Frankl's Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, can be used alongside - to highlight pathological, cultural and identity factors - even those that are strictly existential. pedagogical gaze intends to contribute to a multidimensional understanding of suicide, highlighting how it can be linked to the process of growth of the person or, better, to the failure of his need to search for meaning in existence.
