Abstract

The question of gender difference is a necessity of thought to which feminist research has responded satisfactorily and inexhaustibly. The contribution of the feminist philosopher Geneviève Fraisse is important because it emphasizes that in all eras has prevailed a practice of exclusion that, thanks to feminist reflection has finally been subverted. Among the main responsible for the cancellation of the female, according to Adriana Cavarero, there is Plato who would have stood out for having made the symbolic gesture of annulment of the maternal. Recovering the sense of generation also means recognizing that the generation is in the power of a woman who chooses to realize her potential by giving birth to another being, thus allowing the other to watch to become a guardian of herself and of others.
