“Senso di iniziativa e di imprenditorialità”. Lo storytelling intergenerazionale: imprenditori e lavoratori immigrati

[Autom. eng. transl.] The research “Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. Intergenerational storytelling: entrepreneurs and immigrant workers” intends to highlight the stories of companies and the entrepreneurship of the interested parties. Specifically, the research intends to investigate the motivation and investment factors that characterized both the push for the creation of companies and the support for migration choices. To detect these two factors, it becomes important to refer to Schwartz's (1987) investigation into values, from which various studies originated (Ros & Grad, 1991) which, in the workplace, found with subjects belonging to different types of work, a similar value structure, but specific meanings attributed to the different values, depending on the different professional experiences. From a methodological point of view, the narrative method and the collection of stories were chosen, which allows us to approach the subjects and their world as they inhabit it. The aim is not so much to describe in detail procedures for processing people's speech but to explain the theories of meaning production that are connected to them and the theoretical implications that they incorporate (Demazière & Dubar, 2000). From this perspective, the story offered by the interlocutors is considered a set of traces of the construction of the world.
