Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay deals with the political position of the Municipality of Cremona during the years of the wars against Barbarossa. It also analyzes the figures and the social entourage of the Cremona consuls of that period and their choices according to the commercial and strategic interests of the city located at the center of navigation on the Po.
