Abstract

This essay has a twofold purpose. On one side, it aims at achieving a complete view on the genealogic perspective Nietzsche adopts for his own philosophy. On the other, it tries enlightening the theoretic questions implied by late nineteenth century’s positivism and mechanism in the sciences epistemological foundations’ crisis context, physics in particular. Finally, my attempt is to show how these specific epistemological issues naturally drift to the décadence reasoning and to the nihilism proper to Nietzsche.
