Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution reflects on the criteria that, even on a legal level, are to be considered proper of a "human" generation. At root, the question arises as to whether procreation is to be understood as a mere technical act, consisting in the union of gametes (or in the management of cells), whatever their origin, to which any person intending to follow would have the right to access the growth of a child, or whether it is to be understood as a relational act of two generating subjects, which also involves them in their corporeality. On this basis, the differences between procreation and adoption are considered, analyzing, among other things, some recent rulings of the Constitutional Court.
