Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Last month, the Council of Ministers discussed the legislative decree for the reform of corporate incentives. The massive recourse to automatic measures, in a context of scarce resources such as the Italian one, raises considerable doubts. It would be better to focus on selective tools that, if well managed, signal to private investors the soundness of the projects of the financed companies. Recent studies carried out at the Politecnico di Milano on young Italian companies operating in high-tech sectors confirm this thesis.
