Translated title of the contribution: SCHOOLS, WORK! THE EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGE OF ALTERNATION

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Make schools flourish to generate creative, free and supportive work: this is the pedagogy that runs through the book, an alliance to respond to many young people who find themselves in situations of hardship and exclusion, who do not work or study. In the wake of legislative innovation involving school-work alternation, the challenge is to ignite the desire to learn and ignite the desire to learn. In the curriculum of the second cycle of education, including modules in which students can carry out experiences in real work contexts presents a rather new character and the Italian reality, requires culture and design and organizational choices not obvious in our tradition. Between skepticism and hopes, organizational shortcomings and social redemption, school-work alternation is one of the most promising areas where projects can be implemented for the effective improvement of schools and the world of work, involving families, associations and businesses.
