[Autom. eng. transl.] The book takes into consideration the relationship between Italian writers and the school, or between narration and education: a broad, articulated and, in many ways, contradictory theme. His interest and popularity have determined, from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day, the flourishing of a vast production, both in the pedagogical and literary fields. This production represents today an undisputed cultural value, even if it is not lacking in gray areas. In the field of studies, for example, the field of investigation is still too vague and blurred, and clarity regarding some method choices is too understated. From the need for a greater definition of the interpretative tools, to the evaluation of the various literary contributions, more or less significant. From the delimitation of the field of in-depth studies, to the adaptation of terms and meanings for school (and writing) models that have changed over time.
