Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The reforms that have affected the school system since the start of the Ministry of Luigi Berlinguer to that of the current Minister Maristella Gelmini constitute a period full of changes that has not always been accompanied by continuity of interventions. Some have come to an end, others are still to be completed, others have been abandoned. However, to delineate some lines of analysis of the school situation today it is necessary to take into consideration two preliminary aspects because they contain fundamental orientations to face the renewal and improvement of the Italian school system.
