Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] For over 20 years, we have been discussing the possibility of including a graduate in physical education in primary school to ensure effective physical education for children between the ages of six and eleven. This new figure of teacher, in the bills presented by parliamentarians of various political parties never reached a final approval, was now thought to support the generalist master now to replace it in its entirety. Currently, at the Ministry of Public Education, an umpteenth proposal in this sense is being studied which, according to the instructions of the Minister, should lead to the establishment of such a figure in a short time. The present contribution starts from a reflection that deals with the contents and purposes of movement activities for the developmental age to outline the professional aspects and the skills of those who will have to propose them. In the last part a formative perspective will be explained, active for two years at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, with a total duration of six years that can allow both the three-year graduate in Motor Sciences and the graduate in Primary Education of a double degree (L22 + LM85Bis) and a double qualification for teaching (primary school and kindergarten).
