Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The work intends to be a first synthetic analysis of the scientific activity of population scholars in Italy. In particular the collaborations between demographers are considered, in the form of a written, published or not, contribution in the two-year period 1998-1999. These constitute the dyads of a network of relationships, whose nodes are the demographers themselves, and represent the statistical units of the analysis intended to investigate the structural characteristics of the network of relationships.
