Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The cards cover the events of four works exhibited at the "Bramantino. The new art of the Lombard Renaissance" exhibition curated by Mauro Natale, which took place at the Pinacoteca Cantonale in Lugano from 28 September 2014 to 11 January 2015: the Madonna breastfeeding Bramantino kept at the Museum or Fine Arts in Boston; the Madonna with the child on the throne and angels between the saints Giovanni Battista and Giustina signed by Bernardino Butinone, preserved at the Borromeo Collection on Isola Bella (Verbania); the Madonna and Child Enthroned by Saints Giuseppe, Ambrogio and Girolamo by Bernardo Zenale, from the Raimondi Chapel in San Francesco Grande in Milan; the Presentation of the Virgin at the temple of the Master of Stories of Saint Agnes (Ziliolo Mezzano), conserved at the Museum of the Eastern Greek Community "Costantino and Mafalda Pisani" in Trieste. The card of the Zenale painting was written jointly with Stefania Buganza
