Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Following the "rediscovery of Aristotle in the West", the theologia-scientia-sapientia christiana relationship is a of the most debated issues during the thirteenth century. Marco Arosio's study († 2009) emphasizes the method of the theological "science" that Bonaventure elaborated starting from the years of his Parisian teaching (1250-1257) and which will be adopted by the Seraphic for the entire span of his activity as a Franciscan thinker: a theology that welcomes "scientific" reason as modus inquisitivus et perscrutatorius applied to the credible, so that it can be constituted as a step in the gradual process carried out by faith towards wisdom, on the way, and the vision of glory, at home.
