Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay considers the influence that St. Thomas Aquinas had on the mystical theology of Tomás de Jesús and in particular on his doctrine of contemplation. On the basis of St. Thomas the definition of contemplation is resumed as a simple look at the truth, which is an act of the intellect, but which is generated by the will with which the person is driven to love God.
