Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The choice to make the ancient remains brought to light in the years 1959-61 and 1966 made the Milanese complex of S. Eustorgio an archaeological area that preserves tombs, epigraphs and early Christian structures. The guide includes the description of these testimonies in a broader account of the historical events of the church between the Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, also presenting the heritage of traditions and legends that link the basilica to the origins of Milanese Christianity, the presence of holy relics and the monumental sarcophagus of the Magi.
