Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Is it possible to consider Ruggiero Bonghi (1826-1895) a theorist of the «political class», forerunner of the realist approach typical of the tradition of studies whose genesis is generally attributed to Gaetano Mosca? Expressed through a question, this is the peculiar objective of the present work, which starts from the assumption on the basis of which it is not at all improper to retrieve "anticipations" of the theory of the political class in the journalistic prior to the investigation On the theory of governments and on the parliamentary government.
