[Autom. eng. transl.] The complex historiographic unit composed of romanticism and ideals is taken into consideration, attempting not to assign the first term an exclusively literary scope. The following are taken into consideration: the general characteristics of idealism; Fichte and Schelling's idealism; the ethical problem of conceptual and historical-political relationships between the individual / humanity, community / nation; the theoretical node of the determinations and conceptual relationships between "identity", "otherness", "difference (Fichte, Hölderlin, Hegel); the powerful problematization posed by the romantic philosophy of nature (Goethe and Schelling) by reaction to mechanistic conceptions; the theme of language (Hamann; Herder; Novalis; Schleiermacher), the themes of irony, poetry, mythology (Hegel / Hölderlin / Schelling, F. Schlegel), the common questions of the Nothing and the Absolute (Jean Paul; Leopardi; Hegel).
