Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article deals with the problem of the relationship between the city and the countryside at the end of the Middle Ages, analyzing the behavior of a large farming community intent on defending its community prerogatives in relation to the right to water for a community mill, undermined by citizens. The revolt triggered a procedural procedure which is widely acknowledged.
