Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Many recent studies have documented the fluidity of the contemporary audiovisual universe, now constantly projected beyond the traditional categories of cinema, television and digital media. If a sectorial and media-centric approach, in fact, has now manifested itself as a limiting point of view to fully read the changes in the media scenario, a phenomenon like that of so-called webseries turns out to be an experience that is not entirely or easily categorized within the boundaries of a specific medium. The peculiarity of the webseries, in fact, lies in an openly hybrid dimension. Thus we talked about "softwarization" of contemporary communication, which leads to a hybridization of devices, formats, platforms, techniques and media texts as traditionally understood. And it is in the perspective of this process, the son of an imperative post-mediality that tends to overcome the concept of media itself, that the dialogic relationship between webseries and TV can be interpreted.
