Abstract

In contrast to the widespread organization-centered hospital culture, this essay presents the experience of the ''Child Hospital" in Parma, where devices and relational practices implemented by medical and healthcare professionals testify to the possibility of a child-centered organization in which the lived experience of the disease may become a growth opportunity for the children as well as their families
