Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution proposes some conceptual lines for a rethinking of the personalist reference that wants to be incisive and not merely exigent. In More precisely, three possible directions are identified: tradition, method and areas of operation. First of all, it will be necessary to treasure the link between "person" and Western tradition, reworking the depositum given to us by the latter. Hence the methodological side: what requires focusing the theoretical core underlying the idea of "person" and, at the same time, the modalities of its concrete updating. Only on these premises, finally, it will be possible to identify the areas where the renewed attention to the personalist horizon could be placed, favoring the idea of the person as a "project".
