Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The centrality of primary care has been at the center of academic debate and practitioners for several years. The legislation focused on the introduction of managerial, organizational and clinical tools starting from the early 2000s. This contribution aims to analyze the first evidence that emerged in the light of the pandemic and the main lessons that must be learned not only in the future but also in the management of the increasingly massive demand from elderly and chronic patients.
