[Autom. eng. transl.] Lake Garda represents a natural heritage of inestimable value and a tourist destination of great importance, but the knowledge on the morphology of the seabed and on the surface stratigraphy is not sufficient to correctly direct management initiatives and territorial enhancement. The "Morphobathymetric / Stratigraphic Survey of Lake Garda", of November-December 2017, organized by the Catholic University of Brescia, and implemented by ISMAR-CNR and Proambiente, aims to fill this gap, at least in part, through the acquisition of a dense network of ultrasound and seismic reflection profiles in the entire surface of the lake. Once processed, these data will allow to compile morphological and bathymetric maps of the seabed and to formulate hypotheses on the recent geological evolution of the lake basin.
