Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The aim of this chapter is to introduce the theme of management of urban regeneration processes for the development of cultural initiatives and social innovation. To do this, the contribution draws on the literature of urban studies and city management, providing a framework of reference concerning the most recent debates both in the field of research and in the field of practice, in order to provide a useful framework for framing the remaining chapters of the volume.
