Abstract
Verbal abuse and emotional abuse produce incurable wounds, especially if they are suffered in childhood. They occur mostly in the home, by parents. Screams, curses, blame, insults, threats, ridicule, humiliation, criticism ... are a powerful expression of maltreatment with long-term effects (wounds that give rise to slowdowns, arrests in cognitive development, somatizations and pathologies, personality disorders, intergenerational reiterations).\r\nDamages are known to health specialists, but the awareness of their severity among parents is less. In this regard, the pedagogical research has to ask two substantial questions:\r\n• which knowledge is useful to spread to increase the awareness of the damages that a violent parenting communication can generate in children?\r\n• What are the chances of recovering abused parents, that can abuse their children and other? How can education perform a function of reworking offenses received and accompanying the elaboration of the trauma towards the possibility to have again those resources in hostage in past?
