Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the last decade of September 2020, the fourth referendum in republican history was held in Italy on a constitutional revision law, pursuant to art. 138 of the Constitution. The vulgate has returned that referendum to the annals of the institutional events of our country, with the name of 'referendum on the cut of parliamentarians'. The widely favorable outcome of the reduction in the number of members of the Chamber and Senate is known, however not followed, at least until the moment of the drafting of the article, by other reorganization measures (overcoming the perfect bicameralism, electoral law, amendment of parliamentary regulations), conceived and presented to public opinion as strictly connected to the reform submitted to the aforementioned referendum. The article, after having briefly examined the various reform projects under consideration by Parliament, focuses on the evaluation, even in a critical sense, of the various proposals presented.
