Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article deals with the episcopal reforms of the diocesan bishops of the Latin West during the imperial period of the Saxons and the first empire of the house of Franconia (Conrad II and Henry III. The reforms of the German and Lombard bishops are then analyzed with particular reference to pastoral activity, with a specific analysis of the canonical texts and letters of the bishop Leone di Vercellie of other prelates of the Italian and German regnum.
