Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] From the data analyzed on the Italian public debt it clearly emerges that there are at least three economic problems, which stand out sharply, almost dramatically, on the scene of the final foreshortening of the just past century: - the problem of exceptionally high unemployment; - the problem of a non-negligible inflation, never tamed and which can go back to accelerating at any time; - the problem of a high level of public debt. The essay concentrates and draws conclusions on the last point.
