Riflessioni pedagogiche intorno all'engagement di giovani volontari. La messa in campo dell'accompagnamento in un'Organizzazione di Volontariato

In a time marked by the complexity and fluidity of everyday life, we would like to stress the process of deepening, in theoretical and practical perspective, of the ways that urge a young person to start and maintain an active volunteer path. To get into the reflection, the Study Centre on Volunteering and Social Participation (CESVOPAS) of the Catholic University in Brescia has joined a group of young people from a Volunteer Organization of the surrounding area, in order to launch first exploratory research into the motivations, representations, actions and values of voluntary activation. Starting from the existing literature on engagement, the contribution aims to examine how it expresses itself in youth volunteering and how it contributes to the formation and improvement of the person and the progress of the local community.
