[Autom. eng. transl.] After some observations on the essential and possible ends of comparative law, on its propitiatory function of the dialogue between legal systems and on the specificities of comparative criminal law, the reflection focuses on Islamic criminal law and on the role of secularization and interpretative dynamics, with particular reference to to the subjective element of the crime, to the canon of doubt, to the purpose of the punishment and to the hypotheses of valorization of repentance, forgiveness and reparation. A search for responses is evaluated as possible and appropriate, even with the cautions due to the prevention of the ever-present risks of unduly standardizing assimilations.
