Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the daily challenge that healthcare professions are called upon to face, pedagogical reflection can be a precious ally of medicine, assisting professionals in dealing with the dynamics of the relationship with the patient. The dialogue between medicine and pedagogy represents an opportunity for interdisciplinarity that allows us to overcome the boundaries of science by encouraging a vision of taking charge of the person-patient. The Radiotherapy department is configured as a fertile reality in which to understand the patient's authentic demand for treatment. This contribution, without claiming to be exhaustive, reports some of the multiple personalization practices that the Gemelli ART Radiotherapy Center has implemented to place the person at the center of the treatment path; beyond a descriptive and classificatory intent, it is rather a question of thematizing a reflection on the roots of ethically oriented action implemented in the Centre.
