Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Pedagogy questions the possibility of critically developing technical visions of medicine that exclude, for self-defense or lack of time, the human, whether patient or doctor. The educational dimension of care is a multidimensional opportunity, in which the awareness and ability of the person, patient or doctor to self-train is increased, impacting on their desire to be at the center of an integral care process. The project "The care relationship between the demand for health and the desire for salvation" is placed in this sense. Between educational reflection and narration for the doctor in specialist training" intended for specialist doctors at the A. Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The heuristic framework within which the planning is placed is that of reflection on the broad and rich theme of the relationship in the healthcare context. It was therefore decided to structure a training course in which to stimulate the participants' reflection through reflection on an evocative text. The proposed text is 'Oscar and the Pink Lady' by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, which addresses the relational journey of a young cancer patient in the form of a short novel.
