Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Given a reflection on the relationship between the legal system of the State, in the most intense form of its power to affect individual rights expressed by criminal law, and canon law, the text deals with the delicate problem of the limits and modalities of the intervention of the State judicial authority within the framework of the Catholic Church, especially with regard to the interpretation of art. 2, paragraph 1, of the concordat revision agreement between the Holy See and the Italian Republic of 1985, with which the freedom of organization and freedom of jurisdiction in ecclesiastical matters are assured to the Catholic Church.
