Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution deals with the issue of conflict on the positive side of its re-elaboration through a case of relational art. This is the trial fielded by Laura Morelli linked to the bombing that took place on 16 July 1944 on the Dalmine steelworks. Between 2006 and 2007 the artist faces the re-elaboration of that incident through historical research and an artistic / relational project involving population groups that had suffered the loss of their loved ones, engaging in a collective restitution, then proposed to public. The process of artistic transposition comes to an installation of great impact received by the Dalmine Steelworks. In 2016 the installation is recreated in the S. Francesco chapel of the Catholic University of Milan, capturing a new performative dimension with respect to the multiple implications of the current conflict and its elaboration.
