Abstract
Revisiting a 2009 contribution by Centro di Ateneo, the paper suggests the priority of labour as the guideline for rebuilding a sustainable and inclusive post-pandemic life, highlighting the convenience of realizing “work for all”. Giving priority to labour contrasts with the technocratic paradigm, patently inadequate in pursuing a sustainable and inclusive development. Caring for reality calls for revaluing the subjective sense of work, where the “how” and the “why” of one’s agency is at stake.
