Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] One of the main problems in HRM is to retain the people on whom considerable efforts have been invested in recruiting, training and development. Only recently has optics been moved from asking 'why do people leave' to 'because people want to stay in the organization'. The job embeddedness is, in fact, the set of forces that contribute to linking a person to his / her workplace.
