Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The present volume collects some of the numerous contributions offered by professors and researchers who participated in the IV European Symposium of University Professors on the theme "The enterprise and the construction of a new humanism" held on 22-25 June 2006 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome. The present interventions in the publication indicate some lines of research that have developed in European and international literature and offer various points of reflection on the question of the relationship between the responsibility of the company - commonly referred to as "social", but which also implies the ethical, economic and legal dimensions - and the construction of a new humanism. The adjective "new" underlines both the contemporaneity of the humanistic perspective and the need to grasp the anthropological question in its depth.
