Abstract
In the current epoch marked by profound technological, socio-economic, and environmental transformations, the pedagogical professionas must contribute to find sustainable, design-oriented and also deeply humane paths, rooted in the fabric of everyday life. These paths are essential for addressing the crises of confidence in the future, the growing inequalities and injustices and the pervasive sense of existential loneliness. Despite the insufficient recognition of working conditions, the values, emancipatory demands and pedagogical engagement of these professionals remain pivotal. The concept of educational resilience emerges as a crucial theme, highlighting the need for a university mission. This mission can serve to dismantle the cultural barriers that hinder the full development of educational professions, enabling their effective contribution to Italy's human and relational capital.
