[Autom. eng. transl.] The notions of territorial resilience and vulnerability are useful tools for representing the level of sustainability of regional development, especially with a holistic approach that also considers the social and environmental dimensions of local systems. Indeed, sustainable development appears increasingly cumulative and multidimensional and must therefore be analyzed in the complexity of the relationships between income and employment indicators, sociality and institutional quality, land use and biodiversity. In this work, new maps of resilience and vulnerability in European regions are constructed through multivariate techniques and the direct and indirect relationships between these indicators and the target variables of sustainable territorial development are studied.
