The monothematic part of this first issue is devoted to Voegelin's famous book {"}The New Science of Politics{"}, published 1952 as the output of the Walgreen Lessons, held by him in Chicago a year before under the title {"}Truth and Representation{"}. The aim of the essays here collected is to throw new light on the hitherto neglected philosophical and historical dimension of the {"}New Science{"}. They originate from an international conference held in Munich 2019 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the German edition of the book.",
