Abstract

In international migration, religions are a characteristic element of the different origins and belonging, making intercultural and interreligious competence indispensable in contexts increasingly marked by a significant linguistic and cultural pluralism such as school. At the same time, in the broader discourse on intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity must be thought of as a positive resource for the complex growth processes of society and people, and the different faiths considerably exploit the important opportunity for everyone (Italian and foreign) to re - to discover one's own cultural identity, to enhance the specificity of each community, as well as the common elements that lend themselves to promoting encounters and dialogues and, last but not least, to prevent and contrast forms of closure and "radicalism" on a religious basis.
