Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution takes into consideration all the documents and sources useful for the reconstruction of the layout of the Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Arcivescovile in Milan in the Visconti era (1277 to 1447) and in the period of the Ambrosian Republic (1447-1450). In addition, a selection of documents useful for understanding the transformations of the buildings in the Sfornisca era (1450-1499) is provided, with a preference given to unpublished documents or those of a more purely historical-artistic nature
