Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The review highlights the wide documentary recognition on which the volume and the thematic breadth that the history of the formation and use of the archives of the Italian States allows is based: the administration and the bureaucratic personnel, the interaction between the sphere public and private sphere (corporations, families, classes, individuals); finally, the advent of methodologies typical of historical research in the modern scientific sense.
