Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The institution of revision is conceived as a remedy aimed at preventing the irrepressible demands of truth and justice from being sacrificed in the name of the rigor of form and intangibility of the res judicata. In addition to the traditional and codified cases, the institute rose to prominence following the sent. cost. n. 113 of 2011, which identified in the revision the instrument through which to execute the sentences of the European Court.
